TWELVE brightly-coloured London taxis are taking to the streets of the capital over the next few days as part of new campaign to attract tourists to Israel.
The cabs, adorned with glamorous imges from top fashion photographer Morten Laursen, are designed to draw the British public's attention to Tel Aviv, Eilat and the Dead Sea.
Uzi Gafni, Dirctor of the Israeli Government Office in the UK, said: "It is exciting becuase we have never done taxi cabs. We hope this will increase awarness, interest and eventually bookings."
Five taxis emblazoned with the campaign hit the road this week and Gafni said the public can expect to see the reminder by the end of the month.
The adverts are part of a national campaign and will be on the underground for two weeks from 7th November. There will be a series of thelevision commericals, to run 5 weeks from the end of December.
